DTC SUMMARY
MALFUNCTION DESCRIPTION
These DTCs indicate the current sensor value is abnormal. The cause of this malfunction may be one of the following:
DESCRIPTION
The MG ECU, which is built into the inverter with converter assembly, monitors the main and sub sensors of the motor inverter current sensor. P0BEA-290, P0BEE-298, P1C3C-294, P1C3D-302, P1C4A-288, P1C4F-296, P1C6D-501 and P1C6E-502 indicate malfunctions in current sensors, and do not indicate malfunctions in the high-voltage system.
HINT:
The term "drive motor A" indicates the motor (MG2).

*: DTC is stored when the current sensor signal is out of the normal range.
MONITOR DESCRIPTION
The MG ECU monitors the motor inverter current sensor. If the MG ECU detects a current sensor malfunction, it sends a signal to the hybrid vehicle control ECU which will illuminate the MIL and store a DTC.

HINT:
Waiting for at least 10 minutes is required to discharge the high-voltage capacitor inside the inverter with converter assembly.
NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.
