DESCRIPTION

Wireless Transmitter-linked Function
  • When a key switch is pushed: 1) the electrical key and TMPS receiver assembly receives the wireless door lock signal; 2) the door control receiver sends a signal to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) through the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly); 3) the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) sends the operation permission signal to the power window regulator motor assemblies; and 4) the power window regulator motor assemblies are activated.
Key-linked Function
  • When the driver door key cylinder (key linked switch) is turned: 1) the front door lock assembly RH receives the signal; 2) the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) sends the signal to the power window regulator motor assemblies; and 3) the power window regulator motor assemblies are activated.

NOTICE:

  • These functions are set through the customize function, as they are off by default.

  • The power window control system uses the LIN communication system and CAN communication system. Inspect the communication functions by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. Troubleshoot the power window control system after confirming that the communication systems are functioning properly.

  • Recognition code registration is necessary when replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).
  • If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to Registration.

CHECK BASIC FUNCTION (WIRELESS AND POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM)

(a) Check that the wireless door lock/unlock function operates normally.

(a) Check that the manual up and down functions using the multiplex network master switch assembly and power window regulator switch assembly can operate all the power windows.
