PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:

After the power switch is turned off, the radio receiver assembly records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

NOTICE:

  • When replacing the radio receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one.

    If a radio receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:

    • A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
    • The radio receiver assembly may not operate normally.
  • When replacing the DCM (telematics transceiver), make sure to replace it with a new one (w/ Manual [SOS] Switch).

(a) If replacing any of parts, do the settings shown in the table below.
