NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

2. DISABLE BRAKE CONTROL

3. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

4. DISCONNECT REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH

5. REMOVE REAR DISC
Click here
6. INSPECT REAR AXLE HUB BEARING LOOSENESS
| (a) Using a dial indicator, check for looseness near the center of the axle hub. Maximum: 0.05 mm (0.00197 in.) NOTICE: Make sure that the dial indicator is set perpendicular to the measurement surface. If the looseness is more than the maximum, replace the axle hub assembly. |

7. INSPECT REAR AXLE HUB RUNOUT
| (a) Using a dial indicator, check for runout on the surface of the axle hub inside the rear axle hub bolt. Maximum: 0.07 mm (0.00276 in.) NOTICE: Make sure that the dial indicator is set perpendicular to the measurement surface. If the looseness is more than the maximum, replace the axle hub assembly. |

8. INSTALL REAR DISC

9. CONNECT REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH

10. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
(a) Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal and tighten the nut.
Torque:
5.4 N·m {55 kgf·cm, 48 in·lbf}
