PRECAUTION

POWER FOLDING SEAT FUNCTION HANDLING PRECAUTIONS

NOTICE:

  • When operating the rear power seat, make sure nothing is in the path of movement.
  • When operating the rear power seat, do not allow body parts or foreign objects to interfere with the seat or other components as injuries or damage to components may result.
  • When the rear power seat is operated by the rear power seat switch, No. 1 fold seat switch assembly or No. 2 fold seat switch assembly and a jam is detected between the seat cushion and seatback, the rear power seat stops moving and the buzzer sounds.
  • When the fold seat control ECU is replaced, initialization must be performed. If initialization is not performed, the fold operation, return operation, reclining operation and jam protection function do not operate.
