REMOVAL
PROCEDURE
1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

2. DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
| (a) Remove the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the control shaft lever. | |
(b) Remove the clip from the transmission control cable assembly.
3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER POSITION SENSOR
| (a) Disconnect the shift lever position sensor connector. | |
| (b) Remove the nut, washer, and control shaft lever from the manual valve shaft. | |
| (c) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, pry the tabs of the lock plate. | | | *1 | Lock Plate | | *a | Protective Tape | | |
