DESCRIPTION

The stop light switch assembly and skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) outputs stop light signals. When the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) detects a malfunction relating to the stop light circuit, the forward recognition camera is notified via CAN communication, and C142571 is output.

Stop Light Relay Actuator Stuck

Once 3 seconds elapse after turning the power switch on (IG), the system receives a stop light circuit malfunction signal from the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) for approximately 1 second or more.

  • When C142571 is detected by the pre-collision system, C1380 may also be detected in the electronically controlled brake system. Therefore, check the electronically controlled brake system first when C142571 is detected.
