Lexus NX: Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate Sensor undone (C1210,C1336)

Lexus NX Service Manual / Brake / Brake Control / Dynamic Control Systems / Electronically Controlled Brake System / Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate Sensor undone (C1210,C1336)

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) via CAN communication.

The airbag ECU assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2).

HINT:

If there are malfunctions in the bus lines between the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) and the CAN communication system, DTCs U0123 (Lost Communication With Yaw Rate Sensor Module) and U0124 (Lost Communication With Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) will be stored.

These DTCs (C1210 and C1336) will also be stored when zero point calibration has not been completed.

DTC No.

Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate Sensor undone

-

Yaw rate sensor zero point calibration is incomplete.

  • Zero point calibration undone
  • Yaw rate sensor (Airbag ECU assembly)
  • Skid control ECU (Brake booster with master cylinder assembly)

(Perform zero point calibration and check for DTCs. If no DTCs are output again, the sensor is normal.)

-

C1336

Zero Point Calibration of Deceleration Sensor undone

-

Either of the following is detected:

  • The vehicle is driven normally without zero point calibration completed.
  • After completing zero point calibration, zero point voltage of the sensor is not within the range of 2.38 to 2.62 V.
  • Zero point calibration undone
  • Acceleration sensor (Airbag ECU assembly)
  • Skid control ECU (Brake booster with master cylinder assembly)

(Perform zero point calibration and check for DTCs. If no DTCs are output again, the sensor is normal.)
