INSPECTION
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT ACCELERATION SENSOR
(a) Connect 3 1.5 V dry cell batteries in series.
(b) Connect a positive (+) lead from the batteries to terminal 3 (SGB) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (SGG).
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:

NOTICE:
- Do not apply a voltage of more than 6 V.
- Do not drop the front acceleration sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
- Never place the front acceleration sensor upside down.
HINT:
When the acceleration sensor is tilted, it may output a different value.

Short in D Squib Circuit (B1800-B1803)
DESCRIPTION The driver side squib circuit consists of the airbag ECU assembly, spiral cable sub-assembly and horn button assembly. The circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when deployment conditions are met. These DTCs are stored when a malfunction is detected in the driver side squib circuit. DTC
Brake Control Warning Light Remains ON
DESCRIPTION The skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) is connected to the combination meter assembly via CAN communication. If the skid control ECU stores a DTC, the brake warning light / yellow (minor malfunction) comes on in the combination meter assembly. WIRING DIAGRAM
