INSTALLATION
PROCEDURE
1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (BACK DOOR COURTESY SWITCH)
HINT:
- When installing a new back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch), if there is a rope on the assembly, remove the rope before installation.
- The rope can be removed from the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch) by pulling either one of the 2 ends.
(a) w/o Power Back Door:
(1) Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch).
(2) Install the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch) with the 3 bolts.
Torque:
13 N·m {133 kgf·cm, 10 ft·lbf}
(3) Connect the connector.
(b) w/ Power Back Door:
(1) Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch).
(2) Install the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch) with the 4 bolts.
Torque:
13 N·m {133 kgf·cm, 10 ft·lbf}
(3) Connect the connector and attach the clamp.

INSTALLATION CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT NOTICE:
When replacing with a new inverter with converter assembly, securely lock the retainer of the inverter cooling hose since it is not locked.
Before replacing the wire harness boot, check if any DTCs are output.
