Lexus NX: Disc cannot be Ejected
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
NOTICE:
When replacing the radio receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one.
If a radio receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur:
- A communication malfunction DTC may be stored.
- The radio receiver assembly may not operate normally.
HINT:
Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precaution for Audio and Visual System.

PROCEDURE
| 1. | CHECK OPERATION |
(a) Press the disc eject switch of the radio receiver assembly for 5 seconds or more and check that the disc is ejected.
OK:
Disc is ejected.

| 2. | REPLACE DISC AND RECHECK |
(a) Replace the disc with a known good one and check that the malfunction disappears.
OK:
Disc is ejected.

DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE 1. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR CHECK CUSHION HINT: Use the same procedure for both glove compartment door check cushions. (a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws and remove the glove compartment door check cushion. HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
