CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER (REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER)

HINT:

  • When installing the seat cover, refer to the precautions in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

  • Align the seam allowance in a single direction as shown in the illustration.

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover (rear seat cushion heater assembly) to the bench type rear seat cushion pad with 28 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

NOTICE:

  • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.
  • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

(b) Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover (rear seat cushion heater assembly) with 39 new hog rings.

(c) Using hog ring pliers, install 6 new hog rings.
