CONFIRMATION DRIVING PATTERN

  1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
  2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
  3. Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
  4. Turn the power switch off and wait for 30 seconds or more.
  5. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait for 15 seconds or more, turn the power switch off. [A]
  6. Repeat [A] 3 times. [B]
  7. Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
  8. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes. [C]
  9. Read the current DTCs.

    HINT:

    • If a current DTC is output, the system is malfunctioning.
    • If current DTCs are not output, perform the following steps to check for permanent DTCs.
  10. Check that the permanent DTCs are cleared.
  11. If the permanent DTCs are not cleared, perform the universal trip, and then check for permanent DTCs again.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

There is a possibility that the DTC P062F is issued from the ECUs of the ECM and hybrid vehicle control ECU. Use Techstream to conduct a health check to confirm which ECU the DTC is issued from and then inspect the related system.

HINT:

After the repair, clear the DTCs and perform the following procedure to check that DTCs are not output.

  1. Turn the power switch off and wait for 30 seconds or more.
  2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait for 15 seconds or more.

PROCEDURE

1.
