Lexus NX: Reassembly

REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL ENGINE HOOD LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach the guide.

(b) Install the engine hood lock striker assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque:

8.0 N·m {82 kgf·cm, 71 in·lbf}

2. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER

3. INSTALL HOOD AUXILIARY CATCH HOOK ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach the guide.

(b) Install the hood auxiliary catch hook assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque:

8.0 N·m {82 kgf·cm, 71 in·lbf}

4. CONNECT WASHER HOSE ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach the 4 clamps to connect the washer hose assembly.

5. INSTALL WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

6. INSPECT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

7. ADJUST WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

8. INSTALL HOOD TO FRONT FENDER SEAL LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the hood to front fender seal LH.

9. INSTALL HOOD TO FRONT FENDER SEAL RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

10. INSTALL HOOD INSULATOR

(a) Attach the 2 guides.

(b) Install the hood insulator with the 7 clips.
