SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

WASHER-LINKED FUNCTION

(a) This system operates the front wipers at low speed immediately after spraying a jet of washer fluid when the front washer switch is turned on for 0.3 seconds or more.

The system operates the front wipers at low speed for approximately 2.2 seconds and then stops operation when the washer switch is turned on for 1.5 seconds or more.

RAIN SENSOR FUNCTION (w/ Rain Sensor)

(a) The rain sensing function controls the wiper timing in accordance with the amount of raindrops that strike the windshield when the windshield wiper switch assembly is in AUTO.

(b) The windshield wiper switch assembly controls the timing based on the signal from the rain sensor.

HEADLIGHT CLEANER FUNCTION (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

(a) The headlight cleaner system operates only once the first time and every 5 times the front washer switch is operated.

WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING FUNCTION

(a) When the volume of washer fluid decreases to below a certain level (when the level warning switch is turned on), the multi-information display warns the driver by displaying a message.
