PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT HEATER ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY
| *a | Component without harness connected (Heater Accessory Assembly (Heater Water Pump)) |
(a) Check the motor operation.
(1) Apply the positive (+) lead of the auxiliary battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1.
OK:
| Measurement Condition | Specified Condition |
| Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 2 Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 1 | Heater accessory assembly operates smoothly |
NOTICE:
Complete this inspection within 10 seconds if there is no water in the heater water pump assembly.
If the result is not as specified, replace the heater accessory assembly (heater water pump).
