PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER (REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY)

(a) Remove the 6 hog rings.

(b) Remove the 39 hog rings.

(c) Remove the 28 hog rings to remove the bench type rear seat cushion cover (rear seat cushion heater assembly).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE 1. INSPECT CYLINDER BLOCK FOR WARPAGE (a) Using a precision straightedge and feeler gauge, measure the warpage of the surface that contacts the cylinder head gasket. Maximum warpage: 0.05 mm (0.00197 in.) If the warpage is more than the maximum, replace the cylinder block.
